Stretched canvas is also less likely to warp or sag over time, as the wooden frame provides support and stability to the canvas.
The other buying option is on rolled canvas and means that the artwork is simply the canvas itself, without any frame or stretching. The canvas is rolled up and shipped to you in a tube or box, and you will need to have it stretched and framed separately at your own expense before hanging it on your wall.
